products in 16 chemical plants located
on-site. This site was BASF's first
manufacturing site located outside
Germany and was founded in 1958.
Front &
Center provides consulting, design,
install and maintenance for several
multimedia and videoconferencing
equipped conference rooms on the
property. In 2003, Front & Center
completed a conference room upgrade
featuring a 63" Zenith plasma screen
with Smart Technologies touch screen
overlay, VTEL Vista Pro
videoconferencing system and Sony PTZ
cameras with a Elmo document camera. |

Chapelwood
United Methodist Church in Houston,
Texas, has grown from just 19 committed
members in 1948 to a congregation of
over 5000 today, yet they still consider
themselves a ”neighborhood friendly
church”. The facilities are
state-of-the-art and include extensive
education areas, a large sanctuary,
fellowship hall, chapel, and library.
Front &
Center Technologies was chosen to
provide, install and maintain a digital
signage system featuring over 20 flat
panel displays around the campus. This
system included integration into their
room scheduling system for automated
display of event schedules and the
ability for multiple sources, including
live video, to go to any of the
displays. These displays are also
automated with custom software written
by Front & Center for this application. |

largest and most recognized home
builders in the United States, David
Weekley Homes calls Houston home.
The
Houston headquarters also operated as
the central training center for the
company. Front & Center serves are their
technical experts for training room
upgrades and support personal for their
technical audio visual issues. |

HOUSTON AIRPORT SYSTEM

Comprised of
3 separate airport facilities (Bush
Intercontinental, Hobby Airport, and
Ellington Field) the Houston Airport
System is one of the largest in the
United States.
Communications between these large
facilities as well as on the federal
level is vital. Houston Airport System
(HAS) relies on Front & Center for
consulting, design, installation and
maintenance of its videoconferencing
network as well as its training center
and conference rooms. Over the past
several years Front & Center has
designed and created a new classroom and
auditorium in their newly remodeled
administration building. These
facilities feature numerous plasma
screens, video projectors,
videoconferencing systems and custom
room control systems. We also maintain
their Polycom multipoint
videoconferencing unit and have created
and deployed a new custom
videoconferencing carts system. |

Founded in
1901, The Houston Chronicle is the 7th
largest newspaper in the US and has
branch offices in Austin, Mexico City
and Washington DC.
Front &
Center provides the Chronicle with full
audio visual for the Houston office and
full videoconferencing support for all
their offices. In 2004, Front & Center
completed the design and build-out of
the Chronicle's new executive floor with
a new executive boardroom and multimedia
features in several of the executive
offices. The boardroom features a
quad-image rear projection system,
Polycom VS4000 videoconferencing system
and a custom Front & Center Corporal
Room Control System. |

established in 1980, is dedicated to
providing professional development for
educators in research-based methods of
literacy instruction. We provide a
structured approach to teaching the
basic language skills of reading,
writing, and spelling -- an approach
that is valuable for all students and
essential for those with dyslexia.

Sam Houston
Race Park, located in northwest Houston,
opened as the first Class 1 racetrack in
Texas on April 24, 1994. The Houston
racetrack hosts two live race meets
annually and offers a comprehensive
simulcasting program 364 days each year
in its grandstand and Player’s Lounge.
Racing fans can watch and wager on races
across the country and from
international racetracks including
Australia and Hong Kong.
Front &
Center was chosen to built and provide
custom stand alone kiosks and back
office database for their VIP membership
club. This system allows patrons to
swipe their membership card for points
and the abilty for them to view and
redeem points at the kiosk. Multiple
kiosks are spead throughout the facility
and can be managed from any PC on the
network. |
